Confidence Is The Reward, Not The Requirement

A member left us this review last week, right after his session.

"Following Zach is the first time I've felt confident placing a trade."

Five stars. 34 pips that morning.

But read it again, because the interesting word isn't confident.

Its "first".

This is a guy who had placed trades before. He'd done it plenty. He had just never once felt sure of himself while he was doing it.

And thats the bit people get backwards.

They think the feeling has to arrive before they start... so they read one more book, watch one more video, and wait for it to turn up on its own.

It doesn't turn up. Its never going to. lol

Nobody in the history of anything has ever read their way into confidence.

You got it the same way you got it with everything else you're good at now. You did the thing badly, next to somebody who had done it a thousand times, and one morning you noticed you weren't nervous anymore.

Confidence is what you walk out with. Its not the ticket in.

What you actually need on day one is a lot smaller than you think. You need to be able to follow one person for one hour.
