One Trade And The Morning Is Done - Part 5

Am I Too Old To
Start Something Like This?
We get asked this one quietly. usually in a DM, usually with an apology attached to it.
So heres the honest answer. No.
And thats not a pep talk, theres an actual reason.
The people who struggle most with this are not the slow ones. They are the ones who cannot sit still.
They see a setup thats almost right and take it anyway. They get a win and go looking for another one. They change the plan halfway through the morning because they got bored.
Does that sound like a 22 year old to you?
Patience is the skill. Following the plan exactly is the skill. Knowing when to take your 10 pips and go do something else is the skill.
Most people spend 30 years getting good at those exact things and never notice they did it.
Barrie called his morning "a good exercise in patience" a couple of weeks ago, and finished it 24 pips up.
Thats not a young mans advantage. thats yours.
I want you to consider this: what have you already gotten good at that would help you here?
